I cannot live without this product. I spray it vigorously under my arms after my shower, after my little workouts, and that's it. It smells and feels so refreshing. I don't even need deodorant anymore. Pit Prep is truly a magical product. And I love supporting women owned businesses. We're stronger together!
My first review was for the Charcoal soap so doing a copy and paste from that.........I'd used antiperspirants for years without giving it much thought, they worked and that's what mattered. But as the years went by, I'm 71 now, my underarms started to rebel against the products I'd been using so figured it was a matter of body chemistry and my aging body so started trying other products that I thought might be gentler on my skin. They would work for a few weeks or a few months and then the burning or itching or blistering would start up again. Pretty sure I've tried every brand out there and was starting to get worried - I live in AZ and it gets pretty hot here so I can't go without using something! Then I happened to see a Pit Prep ad of yours and jumped at it, and ended up buying the charcoal soap too. What a wonderful discovery this is, I wash my underarms every morning with your soap and let them dry thoroughly, then spritz on some Pit Prep and I'm good until the next morning, it hasn't failed yet. Even working outside in my yard in the sun and heat, my underarms stay fresh, that's not an exaggeration. Thank you so much! Fingers crossed that my body doesn't rebel against this too, but both of these items seem so gentle while still being very effective at what they do, so I'll be praying this is the more natural non-toxic answer I've been looking for, for so long. I really wanted to love this product and I did at first. After using it for a few weeks, I find that I can’t trust it. Some days I’ll smell fine and other days I’ll feel like I stink by noon. For reference, I’ve used natural deodorants for several years, so I don’t feel like I had to detox my pits. I don’t think that’s the issue. I tried to reach out to ask why it might be performing intermittently like this but did not hear anything back.

Wanted to share two tips that others have found helpful -
1) First is just to give it time and use it consistently. Pit Prep works by exfoliating and gently lowering pH, and sometimes it can take a few weeks of daily use to reach peak effectiveness. However, it sounds like you've already tried this.
2) Second, if you're using it as a deodorant primer, check the deodorant you're using to see if baking soda is an ingredient. If so, and if it's high on the ingredients list (like the 3rd or 4th ingredient), it could be compromising the effectiveness of Pit Prep.
